Let me remind you that the reason you are where you are is because of what you know. The reason why you are not where you want to be is because of something you don’t know. You see everyone, including myself, has blind spots. And at the end of the day it’s not the bullet you see coming that will hurt you, it’s the bullet you don’t see that will kill you.
If I could go back in time and give my younger self a piece of advice it wouldn’t be to work harder or to figure it all out. It would be to find a mentor or a coach.
It doesn’t matter what kind. Be it a health coach, a relationship coach or a business coach. Understand that there is no need to reinvent the wheel. That’s a painful process. Find someone who’s walked the path and got the grey hairs. They will see the things that you don’t see and this will shorten the proces you are going through.
