It’s like building a solid warship – those who invest time and effort over the years will create a far superior product compared to those who rush to finish it in a few months.

An analogy I like to use is comparing construction practices in Harare and Egypt. In Harare, they take the time to build buildings meticulously, while in Egypt, they rush to complete them quickly. As a result, Egyptian buildings often end up looking shoddy and have structural issues, leading to collapses.

Similarly, in online marketing, the rush to complete funnels quickly can lead to ineffective results. Instead, adopting a patient and thoughtful approach can result in better, high-converting funnels. Interestingly, I’ve observed that some of the most successful marketers have a patient, almost “hippie” mentality. They focus on building meaningful connections with their audience rather than using gimmicks and shortcuts.

It covers everything from selling ebooks and social media marketing to paid traffic, SEO, and creating info products. Although it might not touch on modern platforms like TikTok, that might be a good thing as it focuses on timeless principles.

I highly recommend this book to budding entrepreneurs and internet marketers looking to gain a solid foundation in the field.

Why AI Can’t Make You A Doctor, And That’s A Good Thing

After diving into the world of AI, I came to realize its limitations in certain areas. While AI tools like ChatGPT are impressive, they lack the context that human experts possess. For instance, when crafting an ad for a software product, AI can generate a technically correct ad, but it may not consider where the user stands in their buyer journey.

Experts in specific domains, like professional copywriters and marketing specialists, possess valuable knowledge about buyer behavior, targeting strategies, and cold vs. hot traffic. Trying to rely solely on AI-generated content without such domain-specific expertise can lead to subpar results.

A similar analogy can be drawn with doctors and medical AI. AI can provide technically correct information based on existing medical knowledge, but it cannot replace the expertise and context that human doctors possess. For complex decision-making and diagnosis, human expertise remains invaluable.

While AI is a powerful tool, we must remember that it complements human capabilities rather than replacing them entirely.
